Green X-mas

Two days till X-mas here in Sweden. (we celebrate on the 24th)

As an early present: a fan-art piece. I'm really looking forward to the Green Lantern movie. Not that I'm a huge Lantern-fan but it looks like a fun film.

Here the Green Lantern gets noticed by a bunch of (yellow) monsters.  I have no idea if this scene is in the movie but wouldn't it be cool?

Julmarknad i Uppsala

På julmarknaden i Stenhagens kulturhus på lördag (4:e december) kan man bland annat hitta mina snygga saker! Affischer, böcker, t-shirts, presentpapper och inte minst knappar! Bra priser!

Wrapping paper

X-mas is around the corner. Time to think about presents and to find a nice wrapping paper.

I have designed a fun paper full of monsters doing what monsters really like doing best: reading. The wrapping paper will be for sale. I'm just figuring out the postage and best way to mail them.

Busy winter.

We are under way with the next issue of the comicbook. It's called "Hrafnir" and is the second part (of three). In stores in february 2011.

I'm also working on the pictures for the next two books about Erik. This time he gets in trouble in a circus and at sea.

There are also a couple of secret projects going on but we'll see where they go.

Vad är på gång?

På lördag (23e okt) håller Stadsbiblioteket i Uppsala en Serie och animationsdag. Daniel och jag kommer vara där och prata om vår serie 1000 ögon: Tupilak.

Försäljningen har gått bra och vi skall strax skicka andra upplagan till tryck. Arbetet med nästa del i berättelsen om Edgar rullar på. Den skall komma ut i februari.

I våras illustrerade jag två böcker om Erik den vilde skrivna av Torsten Bengtsson. Även där har försäljningen gått bra och snart skall jag sätta igång arbetet med två nya böcker i serien.

Comicbook out on saturday

I've been working on a comicbook together with Daniel Thollin this summer. It's a adventure/horror storie set in my hometown Uppsala. It's in swedish but if you would like a copy get in touch with me.

Nu på lördag (11:e september) släpper Daniel Thollin och jag vår nya serie, 1000 Ögon: Tupilak, som vi ger ut i samarbete med SerieZonen i Uppsala. Berättelsen är en äventyrs-/skräckhistoria i Uppsalamiljö.
Den går att köpa på SerieZonen eller beställas av mig.

New t-shirt!

Got it at UppCon

I'm helping our local comicbook dealer at UppCon. I finally got my hands on a white Munny. They are hard to find in Sweden and I've wanted to try and paint one for a while now. We'll see when I worked up enough courage to paint it. ;)

T-shirt print

Finished the inking of a t-shirt design I've been working on for a while. Now it's scanning and making vectors to be done.

Yesterday I had a mini exhibition of my theaterposters at a theater here in Uppsala. They are running a theaterfestival called Plej.

A bit colour

The last couple of posts has been black and white. I like that but the cold, dark winters here in Sweden demands some colour.

Three small ones

In the area that I live there is a small newsletter/paper called Runstenen. I've done the layout, photography and illustrations for the last three years. It's not that much work and it's quite fun. I just finished the latest issue. I got to do three small simple illustrations.

Kyrkans tidning (The swedish church weekly newspaper) asked me to do an illustration about revenge last week.

Speaker

I went to a meeting for self-employed culture workers (artists, musicians, copywriters, potters, you name it). It was quite interesting. A lot of talk about how to sell your product/service better. Most of it could be summed up with: GET BETTER CONFIDENCE.

Well, I doodled some (and wrote down some advice as well). This is sketch of one of the speakers.
